Who Can Join
Any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older is welcome to become a member of the Legion.
There are four main categories of membership:
1. Ordinary membership
Includes still serving and retired military, reservists, RCMP, police officers, Canadian Coast Guard, and others listed in the General By-Laws.
2. Associate membership
Includes parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces as well as nephews of a person who is or was eligible for Ordinary membership.
3. Affiliate voting membership
Includes Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who support The Royal Canadian Legion’s aims and objectives and are not eligible for ordinary or associate membership.
4. Affiliate non-voting membership
Includes non-Canadian citizens or non-Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who support The Royal Canadian Legion’s aims and objectives.

Full year Membership: $60.00; Seniors 65+ : $50.00
Half-year Membership: $30.00; Seniors 65+ : $25.00
Membership Earlybird Draws
You could win in a Draw if you renew early. These are Membership Renewals – with a draw each month as follows:
- Sept. renewal Draw $100
- Oct. renewal Draw $75
- Nov. renewal Draw $50
- Dec. renewal Draw $25

Membership Meeting Schedule

Prior to Covid – General Meetings were held at The Strand Amenities Room on the 4th Tuesday of each month starting at 7pm. (except mid summer months). Open to all Members in good-standing.
Prior to Covid – Executive Meetings were held the 3rd Tuesday of each month – time and location TBA

Branch 119 members prefer that you join in person, so we may welcome you to Club 119 and answer any questions that you may have. Drop in when its not really busy (between meals) so we can set up your membership and get you going.
