Members of the Port Moody Legion Branch 119 Acting Management Committee were pleased to join Port Moody Station Museum Executive Director Jim Millar to see the museum’s new archive shelves, made possible in-part by the Branch’s $5,000 donation to the museum’s not-for-profit foundation.

As part of its mandate to help assist veterans and improve the lives of Canada’s former and currently-serving servicemen and servicewomen, the Legion’s Poppy Fund also funds local initiatives, such as the Port Moody Station Museum, whose programming features notable First World War artifacts and historical recreations.
