Our mission
Our mission is to serve Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.
The Legion understands the importance of honouring past sacrifices and acknowledging the courage of those who served and still serve today. The Legion helps Canadians to honour and remember. Legion Branches are the cornerstone of communities across Canada, and provide one of the largest volunteer bases in the country. With 1,350 Branches from coast to coast to coast, our members provide local services and supports to build a stronger Canada. Whether helping local Veterans, supporting seniors, providing youth sports programs, raising funds, volunteering to help those in need, or simply offering a place to gather for fun and celebration,
Monthly General Meeting
Port Moody Legion General Meeting is held every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. Open to all members who are in good standing. Show your membership card upon entry. Come and vote on the important issues that affect the activities and financial status of your branch.Your attendance is greatly appreciated.
Annual General Meeting
As per our By-Laws we hold and AGM every year to elect executive members, discuss the order of business and to steer the legion along for the coming year. Members must be in good standing to attend these meetings, and hold a membership for Legion #119 to vote in the proceedings. Dates will be also be posted for this meeting.

Join your local Legion Branch from the comfort of your home, online, by phone or at your local Branch. You can join the Legion online at legion.ca/join. Online membership is approx. $50 per year, and you do not have to be a Veteran to join. Any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older is welcome to become a member of the Legion – See what type of membership you are able to register for and show your support today!
