Trustee Notice / New Liquor Primary License

Hello Legion #119 Members and friends,

As trustees, Peter and I wanted to give you an update as to how the club is doing. After a 3 month closure, we re-opened our doors on June 18 with reduced hours from Thursday to Sunday.  In keeping with Covid-19 requirements – we conduct rigorous cleaning and practice appropriate distancing.  There is a maximum of 6 to a table and table hopping is not allowed. We thank you in advance for your complete cooperation in these matters so staff and patrons can all feel safe.

NOW FOR SOME GREAT NEWS! On Tuesday, July 7th, after a long wait – we finally received our Primary Liquor License! This allows us to open our doors to the Public  – no longer just to members and their guests. Our current capacity based on 6 foot distancing is 113 people inside and 20 people on the patio.  For special events – we are limited to 50 maximum (including staff).

With these limitations – and in order be viable –  we need your help in 3 ways:

1. Come into Club #119 OFTEN to enjoy the great dining experience.
2. Bring others – especially non-members – to acquaint them with our Legion
3. Tell your friends and acquaintances that the Legion is now OPEN to all – and everyone can now enjoy the Award Winning Food and local Brews!

So it’s in your hands, folks.  Oh – and don’t forget – you can order “take-out” of all our menu items to enjoy at home,  office or the Park! Check this website for menu and contact details plus the hours of days we are open.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you very soon!
Sincerely,
David Fletcher
